The relaunch of Street Style

Last night I went along to two things.  Firstly, I was invited to the relaunch of the the hugely popular style bible Street Style by Ted Polhemus.  The new updated edition of the book is a collaboration with cultural research archive PYMCA.

My second stop of the night was the ridiculously popular London's Next Top Tranny at Bethnal Green Working Men's Club.  It was completely full to capacity and there was a big queue outside.  I felt sorry for Tessa on the door who wasn't allowed to let any more people in until some left.  Luckily my friends Jonny Woo and Jeanette

She has fulfilled her dreams...

After she has graduated and became a doctor of dental medicine, her boyfriend proposed her and that's how it all started. Olja has only few months to prepare everything, and for that short period she definitely succeeded . She got custom made dress, which was designed  by her, make up, hairstyle, cake,decoration,  the other dress and sandals, every single detail was planned carefully to match with her personality. These pictures will show you that dreams are possible and that you shouldn't give up easily.

The whole decoration was based on elements from nature, moss, hydrangea and cherries bark, which was really interesting combination with those mirrors on the tables. Very sophisticated and elegant.

Thank you Olja and Djordje for sharing those beautiful pictures and letting others to see one amazing  example from real life, how should everything look on that important day. I was really honored to be your guest, enjoying in every moment and having a great time, I am wishing you all the best, love you! :)

This week in London it has rained relentlessly.  Either constant drizzle or absolutely chucking it down.  It sounded like someone was running a bath outside my window for most of yesterday.
I know the picture above is a spring picture, I just think it's really beautiful.  Now I'll have to accept that all my hopes of a late Indian summer have gone.

Where I go to a WI evening with a difference

My best friend Fee, designer Mrs Jones called me yesterday and said I had to come to the studio this evening.  She told me "The WI are doing something down here" I said "What THE Women's Institute?  Are you having a laugh?" Why on earth would I be up for that?  I haven't baked a cake since I was seven!  I didn't think the WI would be my thing at all, and of course I thought I was far too young!

September, end of wedding season, but at the same time, right moment for thinking about a new one! This post is dedicated to all girls who are planning their weddings for the  next year. It's time for looking around, collecting pictures and all necessary informations, and making finally decisions of course.
This summer i went on four weddings and i was involved in all preparations in couple of them, so i wanted to share everything that i found out last few months. One of my favorite sites for collecting pictures about weddings is  http://www.projectwedding.com/ , you can find there almost everything that you need, but most of all inspiration and great ideas. Cakes, decorations, invitations, hairstyle, dresses etc...Those are one of my fave pictures, but its really hard to choose only couple of them , there are so many beautiful, so check it.

You can never get wrong, if you choose beige, brown and green for your colors, classy and modern at the same time. For hairstyles I recommend you to find pictures from Red carpet events and choose some of their looks.

Dresses....oh those gorgeous pieces...i can talk about them for days. My advice for you will be to be brave and with open mind while you making those decisions. When I was younger, i liked princess gown dresses, but now i like more different dresses. From February i was collecting so many pictures of beautiful dresses, and find out more about some designer, that probably most of the girls would never look for. Some of you can really afford these designer pieces but most of the women can not, unfortunately, but you can always find some good tailor who will do great job, and you will have custom made dress.
